Wood – one of the most ancient building materials. For centuries, new materials for the construction of houses were replaced, however, doors and windows from natural wood still remain a genuine decoration of any interior, both home and office.
Nowadays, when new materials are actively underway and their implementation in construction, wooden windows are increasingly replacing their metal -plastic counterparts, and the doors are now made from chipboard and MDF. This is a completely natural process, because natural wood is much more expensive, its resources are limited, which caused the need to develop new materials.
However, to create an exclusive interior, designers choose precisely wooden windows and doors, which distinguishes solidity, quality and noble appearance from mass products. The most commonly used array of oak, ash, beech or cherries, as well as various breeds of red tree.
But, regardless of the technology, it must be remembered that the doors and windows made of wood will be of high -quality and durable only if all technological requirements and the use of quality components (primarily glue).
Only properly dried wood should be used, since on cheese or not completely dried material, cracks will soon inevitably appear. This will cause the door deformation, it can increase or decrease in size, which will create problems during its operation.
The external decoration of windows and doors is of great importance. For the finish coating, paint compositions are used, the task of which is not only to emphasize the entire grace of the wood texture, but also to protect it from adverse effects of the external environment (excess humidity or, conversely, dry air, etc. p.). Varnish can only be applied to a carefully polished surface, at least three layers.
Beautiful, solid wooden windows and doors fit perfectly into any interior, but they especially organically look in a classic interior in combination with natural wood furniture.
