In recent years, siding panels, soft roofs, metal tiles and corrugated board almost completely conquered the Russian market of construction goods, displacing the materials used earlier from it. This is explained by their numerous advantages and affordable price, as well as the possibility (in particular, for siding and corrugated board) to carry out installation work independently, which reduces the cost of construction and repair. In addition, when decorating walls, siding, the need for preliminary elimination of defects and irregularities disappears – siding will reliably and carefully hide them. Siding, regardless of whether he will be vinyl, aluminum, steel, etc., does not rust and does not burn (vinyl can only melt slightly).
The most popular and widely used is vinyl siding, which is made of polyvinyl chloride and therefore is often called PVC. The panels of such PVC sidding can have a length of 2-6 m, a width of 10-30 cm and a thickness of 0.9-1.5 mm. Installation of siding is not difficult – it is enough to overlap the overlap panels and fix it with special locks. At the same time, the nails attaching siding will be just under these locks, so the facade part has the perfect look.
Aluminum siding is a convenient, high -quality and inexpensive material with a wide palette of decorative capabilities. Due to the small weight of the panel, it is used even when facing multi -storey buildings. Special polymer coatings on aluminum siding panels imitate almost any texture and color of wood. Aluminum siding is more difficult in installation than vinyl siding, but at the same time it has greater strength and is used to create complex architectural elements.
Steel siding is available in the form of metal profiled sheets imitating a wooden surface. From the point of view of the structure and manufacturing method, it resembles a metal tile and has high heat resistance and mechanical strength. Steel siding is more complicated in installation, so it is better to mount it professionals.
