Sticking wallpaper on the ceiling is enough hard work. It is effective if all the corners in the room are 90 degrees, otherwise you will have to suffer. In addition, it is necessary to glue the wallpaper on the ceiling together, it will also not be convenient to do this work.
Only non -woven and vinyl wallpapers, embossed and with a relief surface are suitable for gluing wallpaper on the ceiling. Before proceeding to past the ceiling, it is necessary to align the entire surface of the ceiling, so that later the flaws are not visible.
The following tools are needed for this work: a roller for applying glue, bath, stationery knife, roller to prevent the occurrence of bubbles under wallpaper, roulette.
Before starting work, we measure the ceiling length. Wallpaper is glued precisely in the length of the ceiling. Then we measure the required length of the wallpaper and, accordingly, the area of the room, cut off the required number of stripes. The wallpaper must be cut off with a margin, so that, if necessary, to fit the ceiling length.
We apply one layer of glue to the ceiling with a roller. Then we glue the cut strip to the prepared part of the ceiling. On the one hand, the wallpaper is applied parallel to the wall line, and on the other, it is necessary to support the wallpaper. We draw a clean roller on the surface of the wallpaper, gluing them to the ceiling, so that there are no bubbles. It must be observed that the wallpaper strip went exactly to the wall, otherwise other stripes will be crooked. Further, similarly, we glue other cut strips of wallpaper. We make sure that the joints of the canvas fit to each other.
Having glued wallpaper on the ceiling, we make sure that all the edges of the wallpaper are glued to the ceiling. After the wallpaper glued, and the glue dried, we proceed to painting the wallpaper water -based paint.
